Registration entitlements
Please note, in the interests of sustainability, conference handbooks will not be produced this year, information will be available via the App and website.


Full & Advocate registration fee includes:
1. Attendance at all conference sessions  
2. Sponsored materials 
3. Morning and afternoon teas (Wednesday - Friday, subject to final programme)  
4. Lunches (Wednesday - Friday)
5. One ticket to the welcome function (Wednesday 17 March)
6. One ticket to the conference dinner (Thursday 18 March)

Virtual half-day registration fee includes:
Attend selected session(s) remotely from your home or workplace. 
1. Remote attendance at selected conference session(s)
2. Participate in Q and A sessions / surveys and polls

Each registration entitles one participant to virtually access the conference for the relevant session/half day. The registration link will be sent to the email address you use during the registration process. You will receive your unique link an hour before your chosen session is due to commence. The link will allow participation for the relevant session from only one device. Registrations can be made for any of the following days/slots:

Wednesday AM - 11AM - 2PM
Wednesday PM - 2PM - 5.30PM

Thursday AM - 8.30AM - 12.00PM 
Thursday PM - 1PM - 3PM

Friday AM - 8.30AM - 1PM    

Student registration fee includes:
1. Attendance at all conference sessions  
2. Sponsored materials

Registration clarifications

Student rates
A copy of your student ID will need to be emailed to rachel@hardingconsultants.co.nz after completing the registration process.
Please be advised that student registrations are available until the 5th of February noting that a late fee will apply.

Advocate rates
People who are active advocates (walking, cycling, or other related specific issues like 'safer speed limits') but do not work for an organisation that is in a position to pay their registration fees. It is primarily for (non-professional) financial members of Living Streets Aotearoa (LSA) or Cycling Action Network (CAN) with a focus on representatives from as many groups around the country as possible.

Advocates will need to be signed off by the committee upon completing the registration process. We will be in touch once approval has been granted confirming your advocate rate.

Please be advised that advocate registrations are available until the 5th of February.

Extra tickets for social events
Conference dinner tickets for day registrants, students, exhibitors or additional tickets for partners may be purchased for $172.50 incl. GST per ticket. Welcome function tickets for day registrants or partners may also be purchased for $75 incl. GST per ticket.           

Payment
Payment instructions will be given during the registration process. Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX only) or Invoice (cheque or direct debit).

Confirmation
Confirmation of registration and payment will be sent to you via email automatically upon completion of your registration.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation policy
Should you be unable to attend once you have registered, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please note you must advise the Conference Secretariat on 03 352 5598 or email rachel@hardingconsultants.co.nz

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing. Cancellations made on or before Friday 5 March 2021, will be refunded less 30% to cover administration costs. Please note that all cancellation fees are payable irrespective of whether the invoice for registration has been paid or not at the time of cancellation. No refunds will be given after Friday 5 March 2021.

If, for reasons beyond the control of 2WALKandCYCLE and the conference organisers (Harding Consultants) the conference is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.​

Accommodation cancellation policy
If you cancel your accommodation after 12 February 2021, you will be charged a cancellation fee levied by the accommodation provider.

Liability/Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel insurance and medical insurance prior to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters the meeting secretariat cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates. Nor can the secretariat take responsibility for injury or damage to property or persons occurring during the conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
