  • The Warehouse Precinct Revitalisation Plan was a collaborative effort, aiming to bring together a range of heritage, transport, amenity and planning interventions to change the fortunes of the area. 
Central City tactical urbanism
  • Attendees will walk from the venue to George Street where they will learn about the parklets and the Glow event that DCC organised and implemented across the summer of 2019/20, and then move into the Octagon to talk about the Octagon Experience and tactical urbanism events that have been hosted in the Octagon.
  • ​They will talk about the planning, implementation, and lessons learnt.
Peninsula Connection cycle tour

  • Take a bike ride from The Octagon to The Cove (Otago Peninsula) via Dunedin Railway station and Portsmouth Drive shared path, 15km return
  • If there is time, you may be able to continue along the harbour circuit to the Water of the Leith bridge that was completed in 2018, and back along Anzac Ave to The Octagon.
SH1 - separated cycleways cycle tour
  • This is a cycle tour looking at the infrastructure for the separated cycleways.
  • This tour provides delegates with an opportunity to understand the background to the cycleway, the rationale behind key design elements all while experiencing the facility first hand.
