Call for Presenters

The 2WALKandCYCLE 2024 call for presenters has now closed.
With the growing impacts of climate change, leaders need to step up to the challenges of transforming our transport network and provide better options to get people where they want to go.

2WALKandCYCLE is New Zealand’s premier forum for sharing best practice in promoting walking and cycling.

CONFERENCE KAUPAPA THEME
People Power: the path to low carbon transport
While we’ve seen great change through our recreational routes, our attention must now turn to transforming our urban centres to provide better transport options, so that everyone, starting with our kids, can get around in climate-friendly ways.

Walking and cycling have a central role to play in meeting society’s health, wellbeing and climate change mitigation objectives. We will showcase strategies and innovative projects that are helping to achieve these goals.

We are calling for presentations around the following sub-themes:
  • Behaviour change
  • Equity and inclusivity
  • Hearts and minds: culture change
  • Innovation design and delivery
  • Leadership and change
  • Normalising walking and cycling
  • Taking communities on the journey

We will be asking you select the mode/s your presentation will best fit:
  • Walking
  • Cycling
  • Micro mobility
  • All modes

Thanks to our incredible Sponsors and Exhibitors!
