The conference is going to be a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, share ideas and build a professional or community network. We received a large number of abstracts, with a diverse range of things to share. Our presentation slots are short so conference attendees can be exposed to as many new ideas as possible and kick start more in-depth conversations during the breaks and when you return home.
Presentation formats
Conventional lectern presentation
A presenter delivers an oral presentation (often using PowerPoint), followed by a panel discussion for questions and answers at the end of each session. Presentations are usually 10-15 minutes.
Poster
Presenters prepare a large-format (e.g. A0-size) poster outlining their paper topic and findings/discussions. There is a 1 minute rapid fire presentation to the conference audience and then presenters will stand with their posters at the completion of these presentations to answer any questions delegates may have.
