Share the Road Demonstration

Share the Road will have a Heavy Vehicle Blindzone Demonstration running during the Walking & Cycling Conference on Monday 18th March from 10am until 4pm in the carpark directly beside Tākina Wellington Convention Centre at the Wakefield Street entrance (check the map above).
Come and see the view from the driver's seat of a large truck. Our workshop is aimed at cyclists of all types and aims to give people a clear understanding of just how little the driver of a large truck can see and how we can ride more confidently when sharing the road with heavy vehicles.
Share the Road have delivered Blindzone worshops to more than 7500 cyclists and as many truck drivers around the country. Come and talk to us about how we can deliver our free workshops in your region - we work with all kinds of cycling groups and workplaces. Our demonstration can be taught as a grade 2 bike ready module
