Registration clarifications
Student rates
A copy of your student ID will need to be emailed to rachael@hardingconsultants.co.nz after completing the registration process.
Please be advised that student registrations are available until the 17th of November 2023.
Advocate rates
People who are active advocates (walking, cycling, or other related specific issues like 'safer speed limits') but do not work for an organisation that is in a position to pay their registration fees. It is primarily for (non-professional) financial members of Living Streets Aotearoa (LSA) or Cycling Action Network (CAN) with a focus on representatives from as many groups around the country as possible.
Advocates will need to be signed off by the committee upon completing the registration process. We will be in touch once approval has been granted confirming your advocate rate.
Please be advised that advocate registrations are available until close of early bird (17th of November 2023).
Extra tickets for social events
Conference dinner tickets for day registrants, students, exhibitors or additional tickets for partners may be purchased for $172.50 incl. GST per ticket. Welcome function tickets for day registrants or partners may also be purchased for $75 incl. GST per ticket.
Payment
Payment instructions will be given during the registration process. Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX only) or Invoice (to be settled via direct debit).
Confirmation
Confirmation of registration and payment will be sent to you via email automatically upon completion of your registration. If you don't receive any confirmation your registration has not been submitted OR the email is trapped in your spam filter. Please check this before contacting Harding Conferences.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellation policy
Should you be unable to attend once you have registered, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please note you must advise the Conference Secretariat on 03 352 5598 or email rachel@hardingconsultants.co.nz
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing. Cancellations made on or before Friday 16 February 2024, will be refunded less 30% to cover administration costs. Please note that all cancellation fees are payable irrespective of whether the invoice for registration has been paid or not at the time of cancellation. No refunds will be given after Friday 16 February 2024.
If, for reasons beyond the control of 2WALKandCYCLE and the conference organisers (Harding Conferences) the conference is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
Dinner tickets
No refunds are available for cancellation of conference dinner tickets purchased after Friday 16 February 2024.
Accommodation cancellation policy
If you cancel your accommodation after 16 February 2024, you will be charged a cancellation fee levied by the accommodation provider.
Liability/Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel insurance and medical insurance prior to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters the meeting secretariat cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates. Nor can the secretariat take responsibility for injury or damage to property or persons occurring during the conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
